A Moment to Reflect, Reclaim, and Rise

Hello Reader,

Even with so much going on, we have so much to be proud of.

We carry the strength and wisdom of our ancestors and the power we gain every single day. I know it is exhausting, but we have a power very few possess.

Take a moment today and reflect on your own life. The things you have overcome. The path you have walked. Celebrate yourself along with all who have walked this journey as a Black woman and as Black people.

As we continue this journey of liberation, we reflect on the next chapter our people stepped into when freedom became a reality. With nothing but skill and ingenuity, we built a nation that is uniquely ours. From food to music, theater to infrastructure, farming to every corner of this land, you see us.

That cannot be erased.

So, as we look to the future, know that we have everything we need to build bigger dreams. Dreams are not rooted in survival or in other people’s opinions of who we are.

We are majestic.
We are innovative.
We are gracious.

In this next chapter, we build on the knowing that we are everything.
