Hello Reader,
Let’s be real. Black women do not ask for the money we deserve.
We show up, overdeliver, and stay grateful. We carry the weight of excellence on our shoulders while society still questions our value. We’re taught to be humble, to not make a fuss, to smile and say thank you for the minimum, while everyone else is eating well.
Listening to The Soft Life is Political podcast series, you already know, this movement is not about pampering. It’s not about bubble baths and massages, although those are lovely.
This is about power. Your power.
It’s about rewriting the internal story that told you being the strong one was your only option. The story that said you had to prove your worth, instead of knowing it. The story that taught you to protect everyone else while leaving yourself last.
I’ve lived it. I’m still unlearning it.
A man I trust sat me down and showed me the math. His company hires consultants to lead employee training. He told me that when Black consultants pitch themselves, they ask for far less than their non-Black counterparts.
I asked, “What’s the fee?”
He said, “That’s two different questions: what they ask for and what the budget actually is.”
I pushed. “Okay, how much did she ask for?”
“$8,000 a day. Three days. $24,000.”
I nodded. That sounded fair.
Until I asked, “What was the available budget?”
His response? “$72,000.”
The gap: $48,000. Let that sit.
What would $48,000 mean to your life right now? What about every month for a year?
That’s $576,000 left on the table. Not because we aren’t qualified. But because too often, we are too often socialized to shrink. To stay grateful. To not ask for more.
But here’s the truth: this isn’t just about proposals or pitches. This starts inside. This starts with what you believe you’re worth.
We’re told to be gracious. To be grateful just to be in the room. But what if the story you’ve been telling yourself is the reason you’re not asking for what’s already yours?
Let me say this clearly:
The problem is the story. The solution is your story.
That’s why I created the Envision Bundle.
This bundle is not a course. It’s not homework. It’s a reset. A realignment. A reclamation.
Inside the Envision Bundle, you’ll receive:

Your daily companion to reflect, reset, and reconnect with what really matters.
- Reframe Your Narrative Audio Workshop

This isn’t theory. These are the same tools that helped me forgive my father, say no without guilt, and build Black Women Amplified from the ground up.
This is how I moved from burnout to alignment. From survival to sovereignty.
And for a limited time, you can get the full Envision Bundle for just $127.
The total value is $397, but I want this to be accessible. I want you to feel what it’s like to show up with your full self and say, “I deserve more.”
Not because someone said so, but because you know it deep in your bones.
You don’t have to prove your worth. But you do have to claim it.

Let this be the moment you say yes to yourself.
With power and purpose,
